Bioperl-guts: bioperl for windows?

Hi all, 
  I'd like to be able to do a perl BLAST query from windows NT or 95.  I
know that bioperl's present incarnation is considered to be a UNIX only
pre-release, but would I have any chance of getting this functionality to
work on a windows platform?
