I don't know about Storable, I've used Data::Dumper. You can "stringify" the
object like so:

use Data::Dumper;
$str = Dumper($aln);

Then write the string to a file. To re-create the object retrieve the
string, then something like:

$aln = eval "$str";

I have waited for a few days since I sent a message to
the discussion group. But there is no response. Maybe
the question is too hard or some other issues? So I
have to submit to the technical group, which is not
appropriate. Sorry!

Your help is appreciated!
