[Bioperl-l] biosql & bioperl-db on Solaris

If I'm understanding this correctly you'd like the build to use gcc. Did you
try things like:

setenv CC gcc


The equivalent of the command above in the CPAN shell would be:

cpan>o conf makepl_arg CC=gcc
